Aba Khoja Mausoleum
Also known as Tomb of the fragrant Imperial Consort, the tomb is located on the northeastern outskirts of Kashgar City. It is one of the tombs in the family cemetery of Aba Khoja (Afāq Khoja), chieftain of the Baishan Sect of Islamism. Local people call it "Hazilat Mazar" (Tomb of the Sage). A girl of the Khoja family named Yiparhan was married to Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty. Her body carried a scent like that of narrow-leaved oleaster. For this people called her "Fragrant Imperial Consort". After she died her sister-in-law escorted her body back to Kashgar and buried her in the Khoja family cemetery. Local residents began to call the cemetery Tomb of the Fragrant Imperial Consort.
