Built in 1777 more than 200 years ago, it is 44 meters high and 11 meters in diameter at its base, making it the largest pagoda from ancient times in Xinjiang. The brick-wood tower tapers upward tier by tier to resemble a vase. A spiral stair of 72 steps is installed inside the tower. Fourteen windows in the tower open at different heights and to different directions. The outer wall of the tower is decorated with as many as 15 kinds of geometric patterns of superb craftsmanship.
